(I was Elegant Elizabeth there, in case you came across me, no pun intended...)
I was so damn annoyed by this that I didn't make another profile. Technically, the Verification process is private and discrete, you supply your official photo ID, and a pic of yourself holding it with the current date, but at the time there was a system glitch that meant these pictures were being displayed on the website for about 24 hours, and various nasty minded individuals were taking screen shots and posting them in forums, which is just mean.
So I took an unholy oath that I would never take the Verification risk again on any site. Maybe a bit of an extreme reaction, but I am sticking to it. I appreciate that will have a negative effect, I accept that, but thought I would at least share why.
Also, I have now dyed my hair black, but as I really like the photos I have posted with my hair red, I have simply kept them - the very first two images are right up to date, it is obvious I am the same person, I think!
